Here is mine, but my RAM is rated for 2000MHz, so should I try to run it faster:

Nothing at all, I just don't OC my ram, so it looks high to me!

open multipul copies of CPU-z nad show us:
CPU, SPD, Memory
Looking at your sig im guessing you have the triple channel kit of my ram - which is 2000mhz rated.
@~1500mhz i get cas 7 (can do 6-7-7-21 too - just)
~1600 > (so far tested) 2000mhz cas 8
Havent really tried any higher

In general - faster ram doesnt make much of a difference overall - it can be noticeable (eg 1333 cas 9 vs 1333 cas 7)
Its mostly synthetic tests that you notice it - other than those cas changes mentioned above - your will not usually notice a difference

All in the bios.
LOok for it in the memory section - depending on the mobo ive seen it listed as just a figure - 1/2, as 1N/2N and as 1T/2T

Just have to look.
Should be labled though

No.

It's not multiplied by 2 because it's dual channel. it's DDR - Double Data Rate, which is why it's multiplied by 2. 766 x 2 = 1532. So it's running just below DDR2 1600.

yep - our ram is the same....
Id set the ram divider to 2:10 - making it 955/1910mhz
Then set your timings to 9-9-9-28

Also - try running 8-8-8-24 - my sticks do it fine - so yours "should"

Okay and this will give me better performance than what I have now right?
