Whats your budget?

A good ssd for you - 200$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-124-_-Product There are cheaper ones, but this one is one of the best.

A better Hard drive that is cheaper and quieter - 70$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-185-_-Product

That psu is way way too powerful. Go with this instead - 150$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-011-_-Product

Nice cooler and motherboard, but there isnt really a point to paying 100$ more for a black edition cpu. Get the 1055t for much cheaper and then overclock it. You should be able to high 4ghz or more (the 1090t wont be able to go any higher) with the h50.
1055t 6 core 2.8ghz cpu - 200$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-851-_-Product

Cheers!

my budget is realistically around 2000 minnus the monitor. ive actually never overclocked befor and was getting the 1090t for that reason so i could have a good start and if i decided not to overclock. also question is aa ssd really that much of a improvement on anything really besides boot i am just wondering i mean i really dont mind getting a coke while my computer boots lol. I do appreciate the hard drive though i hadnt seen that one yet. also will 850hx be able to support both cards plus overclocking? i read that the peak voltage for 5850 was 320v each card?

an 850hx is more than enough. a 750tx is probably enough

an ssd will be incredible. it cuts the time of doing everything in half. ive tried one before and its absolutley amazing. most people who buy one never even consider buying another kind of hard drive. Its not like people pay hundreds of dollars more for a 5 second startup...

Since your budget is 2k$, I would recommend this ssd instead, with which you can install windows and all of your games on: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-087-_-Product

Also im not sure how much your build costs of as now, but i would recommend just getting a 5970. it will beat your 5850s by quite a bit. (its equal to 2x5870s performance wise but only costs 100$ more than 2x5850s) (im an nivida guy because of folding, but its not really worth going nvidia price/performance if you dont fold so thats why i am not recommending an nvidia card. PM me if you want to learn about folding. Its great!) Also in case you were wondering a 5970 only needs a 700w psu so overclocked youll still be fine.

Asus 5970 - 700$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-357-_-Product

Then you'll only have to deal with one card and it will be much stronger.

Also that sounds like a good plan for the 1090t considering you may not overclock.

thanks for the info on he video cards my plan was actually to grab the 2x 5850 for crossfire now and then apgrade to 2x 5970 when the price comes down. I was originally thinking about the 5970 for the original build but i read that there were clearance problems with the mobo due to length. I will deff have to get a ssd for my boot and a few games indeed. i think a 40 gb woud be more than enough for my needs since i can always beat a game and delete and keep my favs on. also a few qustions for you velociraptor? worth it its on sale right now. also i was told that a computer cant recognize a hd over 2.5 tb due to a kind of glitch unless you raid i.e a raid on a 2tb=1tb in raid. is this true ? also how many hard disks can i support off one mobo? and what is folding?

Velociraptor is good the 600 is fast and lot of storage though a good ssd has it in performance, with the nfts format your limited in your drive size for now but they are working on bringing out advance formatting that will recognize over 2tb drives in vista and windows 7, xp will see a performance penalty due to restrictions in how it was made, And you can support as many harddisk as you have sata ports generally 6 but now I think they are adding more ports, folding is generally used with nvidia cards its where you donate pc power to help research protien folding and diseases related to it...well far as I remember I dont have an appropriate rig for it :/ Hope some of that helped you
