Actually you are wrong, very wrong and no I aint a little fanboy I spent days deciding on which way to go between Nvidia SLI and ATI crossfire, I chose Nvidia because they are the better of the 2, I am a core gamer I dont care who makes the components just how much better they will make my gaming experience so please keep comments to yourself.........
Anyway back to the you being wrong part, One of the major differences between SLI & crossfire is SLI is software dependant, if support isn't built into the game/software then SLI doesn't work but as mentioned previously most current and new games support SLI where on the other hand crossfire uses hardware to run and is always activated. bridging from this is another major diference, crossfire sups resources because it is always on and running max even while sitting on desktop where SLI isn't because it is configured to be used when required and because it runs through software resource usage is minimal. How about that SLI can be ran across crossfire boards but crossfire cant run on SLI? Performance, stability and requirement differences......... I would continue but I cant be bothered think I have made my point
I will accept an apology in the form of Sorry, Dude I was Wrong, Soz Mate or the most popular I learn something new everyday!
