good OCing ram for my ASUS SLI?

I'm moving my corsair to my son's build, and I need good DDR 500 to help push the OC on my ASUS higher. Any ideas?

I've heard a lot of people having success with this set. There was also an article published a little while back by techpowerup.com about them as well. Ill try to find it, but these are quite good.
Also, Mushkin Redline series ram are quite hard to find, but from everything I've read these are hard to beat!

The timing on that ram doesn't look to great for gaming. Maybe you could sacrifice the bandwidth for tighter timings. Either way It's a good price. 2Gb<$200 go for it.

Yeah those Gskill ram should be good, everyone raves about them. I'm using the mushkin redline XP4000 2GB(991493) kit (After reading the reviews from techpowerup and anand it seemed like the way to go and having heard lot of good things about it at the time), if run down to ddr400 can get timings down to 2-3-2-8. is pretty nice but the pricetag is enough to leave you wondering if you got what you wanted. I wanted something that would overclock pretty high, what I got was a max clock of 260, and using a8n-sli deluxe had to run 2T cause it wouldn' run 1T. Anything over 260 caused the memtest to fail test 6 everytime. was hoping to get 270 but doesn't seem to want to push past that so far. Oh and that review from techpowerup was from a different batch, the stuff they are selling now seems not to clock as high, they seem to max at around 260-265... 270+ is supposed to be pretty rare.

Crucial Ballistic Tracer 2x1gb for the win....
ddr 400 at 2-2-2-5 1t
ddr 545 at 2.5-3-3-7 1t
ddr 600 at 3-3-3-5 2t
This ram is very flexible, which is very good for overclocking but hard to find...

I am using mushikin ram and it is highly overclockable. I use the blue line but redline seems it would be better for you

I've seen a lot of reviews which state that the Samsung UCCC chips aren't supported very well by Asus A8* motherboards. Apparently the Infineon CE-6s on the 2x1GB GB mushikins do though. Since most 2x1GB chips use the UCCC ICs I'm a little worried about my purchase of a A8n SLI Premium. Anyone want to comment on this?

Ive got the same problem as you mate, but Ive seen a few people on here using g.skill hz ddr500 without a hitch. I am currently looking at getting a set to upgrade from 4x512 to 2x1gb. The g.skill does use UCCD, but so do most 2x1gb sets it seems. I think im gonna take the risk from newegg and if they fail, Ill send them back for an exchange.
