How do i make my TV clear when using my mx440 with it?

Hey, i have an MX440 and i want to use it with my TV but it always goes really fuzzy, how do i fix this? Also if you have any programs you would like to mention for using my computer on the TV can you please clue me in. I want it so i can watch TV on My Pc and backed up DVD's. I would like something like a PVR or whatever there called. I mean like the OS's that are made just for DVD playback and such but without the need of a TV tuner. I dont know if you guys know what i mean because i am really lost here.

If your connecting it to a standard NON-HD TV than it will allways look fuzzy unless your playing Videogames or watching movies in which case only text will look fuzzy. Hooking up your card which I dont believe has an HD (High Definition) output to any TV via Composite (Yellow cables) or Svideo (Black with pins) will result in fuzzy or blurry output. Standard TV's support a resolution of 320x240 which is way too low for any PC to display properly on, your best bet is trying to go into properties and lower the resolution as much as possible. Your can try to strech it anyway you like but in the end its not gonna look as good as it would on the monitor unless you hook it up with High Definition Cables to a High Def TV.

I have it set at 640x480 because i know TV is extremely low resolution and thats as low as i can get it in order to use it.

check the refresh rate is set to that of the tv. Try and get a better way of connecting. Composite cables aren't the best.

Oh. And if your using some kind of converter to change between your video cards VGA and your tv's PAL/NTSC, theyre renound for giving poor signals and making things fuzzy.

A TV tuner card would probably be your best bet. Theyre quite cheap

Not much you can do i had server with mx 440 64 in it and if you notice it looks clear as day when black screen with windows is booting up, look at "microsoft corperation" logo on that screen looks great until windows acually boots up it has to do with the resolution, i had it on 27 flat sony vega best you can do is get a tv tuner vid card or try to adjust gama, contrast, brightness and sharpness in nvidia or like above using hd output if card supports it
