why do you need to upgrade? It looks like your system right now could handle pretty much every game out there just fine. But i guess, if you really wanted a boost in gaming performance, all you could upgrade would be the graphics card. And then maybe the cpu. But i don't really see you needing to upgrade right now. I really would wait right now. Your rig is just fine, but if you wanted more performance in gaming, upgrading the graphics card would be your best bet.

So no, it is not worth a whole other build.

Just my 2 cents.

Thats right, do you really need to spend 2Gs on a 1366 upgrade when you already have a really nice rig. If you did upgrade to 1366 though, don't use 4gb ram. Use 6gb. Thats the whole point of 1366, triple channel. Also, don't get an asus gtx 480, get an evga. Asus is a great company, but evga has a lifetime warranty. You might just consider going to an i7 875k and a gtx 480, but to upgrade now is a big waste of money.

EDIT: What games do you play?

Whether you need the upgrade is something only you can know. However if you want to spend the cash now here is my input:

While it costs slightly more, I hands down recommend the EVGA GTX480 over the Asus. If you ever have to rma it, Asus are total trash. EVGA pretty much guarantee a 3 day turnaround + postage time. On top of the lifetime warranty (even if you remove the heatsink!). Just remember to register it on their website within 30 days. I had to RMA my 2nd GTX480 because of horribly graphics artifacts. From sending to arrival of the new card was exactly 1 week.

The Rampage III Extreme motherboard is aces. As you can see from my sig rig, I use it.
H50 is an excellent cooler for the cpu.
CPU is a good choice.
Not a fan of Antec power supplies. Too many of them like to expel their smoke.
Western Digital drives are tops too. Bit more expensive but worth every penny.

I personally don't think you will need to update yet. I say just keep that money you have now in a high interest savings account for a few years down the road when you can update to something more significant. Just my 2 cents.
