Project: Katharos (Pure) - NZXT Beta Evo Mod - April 2011 MOTM Winner! - Page 55

A very nice photo-set....

One thing is missing from those photos...... you didn't include any of the grill mod on top of the case, like a head on shot from above so you get to see the lines flow over the case from the front bezel to the back.

Thanks! The guy that did them for me, was very pro. I think we took photos for like 4 hours. It really confirmed that I want to, at some point invest in a digital SLR and really mess with some photos.

This is crazy talk as the HDD's are probably still under warranty but I would get rid of the stickers on them.
THAT IS CRAZY TALK! >.< Naw I thought long and hard about it, but I ended up kinda like the barcode lol. But looking back upon it maybe they should have been removed.

Wow, We did the normal light photos at the end and I fully spaced out getting that photo. That was the whole reason I made the grills go in that direction. So that it would flow from the front to the back. Oh well. Thanks for noticing though lol

You could always cover up the barcode with a black sticker so you could peel it off if you ever need to RMA the drive

If you decide to do that put a piece of clear tape over it first so you don't peel the barcode off when you remove the black tape or sticker.

NP There's almost always a work around for covering up warranty-related stuff in a build without voiding it! I know so many people go for the 'No Compromise' thing but voiding a warranty is a compromise when you're working on a tight/student budget. I think there's more creativity involved in actually retaining your warranty and coming up with ways of hiding the labels

I completely agree, I love the totally clean look, but it gives me slight anxiety to rip off all indentifiers. I saved the video card stickers, at least the ones that are needed to rma. It would make sense to figure out an easy way to be able to remove all stickers and then keep them for warranty purposes.

And the cover sticker is an awesome idea! =P
