Whys APG more $$$ than PCI-E? Should older technology become cheaper if new tech is relised?
No, because most AGP products are no longer in mass production, therefore their supply is limited, forcing prices up.
Also, it is cheaper for manufacturers to produce PCI-e products now, becasue of their newer, more efficient assemlbly machines that they recently bought, while the AGP machines are older and less efficient.

PCI-E is a newer technology but manufacturers want you to upgrade from AGP to PCI-E, that way they can make more money by you buying all these new parts that are compatible with PCI-E motherboards. (Diff. CPUs, PSUs, etc.)

LOL!!! that site is telling me that I fail the recommended system for both TES oblivion and LOTF battle for middle earth II... cause it reads my cpu as a 2.8Ghz and they call for a 3.0Ghz.

hmm... too bad my cpu will blow the doors off any 3.0Ghz Intel! they really need to do something about that. some noob is going to buy an A64 and then test it out to see how it will run new games then go cry himself to sleep! LOL.

TheLegend - I will check those sites.
Zipnogg - Well, the truth is.. I'm 16, jobless, so I'd say I'm stuck with this computer for the next 2+ years. I had a budget of $700 when building, and for some weird reason I went with an AGP mobo (due to the stupid fx5500 that i wanted to carry over from my old pc)

Another thing:
BF2 seems to be very un-efficient. I can run DOD: Source at FULL settings in 1280x1024. Seems like the steam engine is VERY optimized.
