Hi Guys

Ive got 2 Hard Drives

First hard drive is an 80Gb, everything is ok there

C: 39.0Gb
E: 35.4Gb

Second hard drive is a 200Gb, theres a problem here with some space missing

D: 19.5Gb
F: 58.5Gb
G: 24.4Gb
H: 25.4Gb

By my mark, there is 127Gb all together and there is roughly 60Gb Missing

Also it looks like my partitions are wierd as on my 80, i have my c drive and a backup drive, but in this case d is before e.

Operating systems that do not have 48-bit LBA support enabled by default (such as Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), or Windows 2000) that are installed on a partition that spans beyond the 28-bit LBA boundary (137GB) will experience data corruption or data loss.
Check here \\/

To enable 48-bit LBA large-disk support in the registry:

1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).

2. Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Ser vices\\Atapi\\Parameters

3. On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value:
Value name: EnableBigLba
Data type: REG_DWORD
Value data: 0x1 (You must enable the support in the Windows registry by adding or changing the EnableBigLba registry value to 1)

4. Quit Registry Editor.

You have a considerable amount of space left unallocated. Means you could make yet another partition out of that extra space.

You are not missing the space, you just never partitioned it.

What are you using to partition?

The computer knows you have a C drive already, so it shouldn't try and make another.

basically all im using is disk management, look at the pic, you can see the unallocated space, as soon as i partition it, it tries to make a primary drive

Out of curiosity, if you knew that the extra space was not allocated, why did you make a thread about missing space?
