ok, update...

I read the dfi-street thing, and set all the timings as close to the best stability settings as i could. as soon as i booted it back up i got a hanging pheonix bios screen. Tried clearing the CMOS, with no luck. So i took out the stick of ram closest to the CPU now i get a hanging DFI logo screen.

This is why I went with Asus. DFI may be crazy OC boards but they are trickt to set up.

Right about now, i am thinking i should have gone ASUS.

ok, reset the CMOS, took out a stick of ram. It booted up so i am in the process of reinstalling XP Pro. hopefully i will be able to get windows to boot and be able to add the 2nd stick back in there.

everything loaded fine! right now i am installing video drivers, and various other software. still gotta slap that other stick of ram back in.

stuck in the second stick and it booted fine. for some reason it will not allow speed fan to run.

Yeah I had similar issues untill i upp the ram voltage then it allowed both sticks to run fine. From what I've heard use 1 stick in the slot closest to the CPU and then tweak it to what the ram likes then it will should run both fine. Anyway glad to hear you got it running good, and this board is better than most IMO, I know I like it better than my A8N-SLI.

Yeah, Speedfan doesn't work. MBM5 should be fine with the config patch from DFI Street.

No, but any somewhat intelligent person can equate the green/red leds to red/off ones and still use what I posted. Some motherboards were to cheap to use 2 color LEDs and simply use on/off in place of green/red.
