Abit NF7-S v2.0
Abit AN7
Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
Abit NF7-S2G
MSI K7N2 Delta2 FSR or LSR
Look at Epox but I am not sure which one!

Since your CPU is probably locked, then any of these boards will work great. They are getting hard to find though but you can find them. Look on Ebay.

If your lucky enough to have a 3000+ that is unocked you should get one of the following boards,

Abit NF7-S v2.0
Abit AN7
Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
MSI K7N2 Delta2 FSR or LSR

These boards are best for OC'ing.

Hope that helps!

I am currently using an Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe with an XP-M 2500+ and it doing well. I also have an Abit NF7-S2G with an XP 3200+ and it is a very nice board but if you have an unlocked CPU, don't get this board! You need something that overclocks better (something that gives more options). Don't get me wrong, you can OC with an NF7-S2G and if your CPU is locked you will be able to get possibly 2.2 to 2.4 GHz on this board with a locked 3000+ Barton.

I would go with the Abit An7, very good overclocker and easy to use.

It has to do with when your CPU was made. If your CPU was made 0311 then it is probably unlocked if it was made around 0350 then it is locked. These are examples and not the actuall dates determing it being locked or unlocked. I did here however hear that if it was made before 0346 then it it unlocked. This may or may not be the true dates. Anyone know what the dates are?

Since your CPU is locked you can use any of the motherboards I recommended and you will be in good shape. There are a lot more motherboards out there for your chip. These are the only ones I would use, but that's my opinion.

I am working on buying an AN7 for my XP-M proc, thanks to The Dukes help!

Good luck getting a board!
