Soooo.... I guess everyone just oc's and then goes straight to gaming never checking for stability?
I mean, no one ever used Vantage for stability testing before they start gaming for gpu oc's?
Come on, it only takes an extra minute or two after running them anyways when I guess the 1 or 2 of us on OCN test for various stibility issues with various programs.
But ok, I guess if it's not a tangible thing no one wants anything to do with it. Like Folding, everyone just does that for points. Half the people could care less about the science. They won't even join our comps because "it take too many points away from my main folding name"
Why be part of this community if you won't help it in any way shape or form.

Agreed and well said. However, benching to the max is not needed, rather a misconception. People go" well I can't hit 5GHz so no use for me to try". But every run helps, even if it is just for a 24/7 goal.
And come on, most of us use application that are in many way becnhing programs to test out oc's out. So kinda goes hand in hand. Don't kill your hardware, that's not what I'm saying.
Not to mention I posted that question in this thread and section for a reason, and not in a general subsection.
I'm just sayin. Edited by rx7racer - 7/6/10 at 8:55am
