ram problems

hi guys, hope this is correct section, i dind't find one more accourate..! first of all hope you can understand me, my english isn't really good.
I got a problem with my DDR3...! i'll try to explain.
i got 3x2 DDR3 corsair 1600 CL7, and when i turn on my PC, bios and windows show me always 4gb. If i turn on my pc..wait for 4 second, turn off, and on again, it show me always 6GB! Well i can't understand why! i tried in different motherboard, but same think, so i performed memtest86+ whole ram and got no error..! someone can help me? thanks in advance

edit: my main spec
asus p6t-se
i7 920 stock
3x2 DDR3 corsair 1600 dominator
psu corsair 850 modular
480 gtx pov exo

Yeah if we can get a moderator to move this to intel-memory that would be lovely.

Andy, are you using a 32-bit or 64-bit OS?
