Pulling back the our chat towards mods, the wcing kits are as cool as CrackerJacks to me because they are relatively cheap (price of some oversized air coolers) and relatively efficient (more stable than air) and quite compact in size. Another plus is that they are relatively maintenance free except for the occasional blast of air to clean the radiadator and the Coolit is sooo quite. I originally had not planned on using WCing as shown in my log but however, reading the great review given here and taking advantage of my trip to see my son's graduation stateside, I ordered it and only had a month to fool around with it before the due date, way too little to incorporate it fully into my mod. I do see it as the ticket to water cooling for the average user that just has to dip his toes into it to see what the fuss is about liquid cooling and get a taste of sweetness before going full blast into it later on with something more complete and fulfilling or more extreme, as bob says.
However, if the new NEC phase change systems takes hold, first to be produced and tested on servers and then eventually to trickle down to consumer pcs, I will skip WCing althogether and go this way as it promises to cost less than WCing and yet be more efficient.

Hmmm.. innovation gets the brain cells moving again! And this help mods gobs for being compact and easy to accommodate within the build. Crossing my fingers for it to work-this would be ground breaking! Even more exciting than LN2 with helium, hehe.
Cheers and Saludos
