Cheap Ram But Not So Cheap

Thread Starter
I sold my 2 Gigs of Corsair XMS CL2 to a friend of mine today because i didnt like it and wanted to get something better, so i ended up putting in my other 2 Gigs of ram i had before so i could still use my pc till i found something better well i started farting around with it and set the timings my Corsair was rated at just for giggles well the SOB booted up and i about fell out of my chair,This Nanya ram is rated 3.3.3.8@200 and its running at 2.3.3.51T So this just goes to show not all cheap ram is cheap

Did you run memtest though? I can set my cheap ram for timings way lower and it *seems* to work but it gets errors in memtest.

G.SKill is the best RAM, and it tends to be "Value" priced.
