Another ATITool issue

Thread Starter
I used it to overclock my card recently, and was told that it runs "safely." What I was told is that when it runs the tests, it slowly builds up until you see artifacts, then it drops down to a safe range. Mine did not do this. It ran and ran max core until it was at about 681 I believe, and then locked up my computer. After that, I can't get it above about 430 before it makes my screen all funny. Same thing happens with my memory after about 255. Any ideas? I have an ATI Radeon 9550 256 AGP, any other info just ask and I'll see if i can find it. Thanks.
