NF2 Northbridge Cooling

Thread Starter
I am going to replace the passive heatsink on my mobo with a all copper iceberg fan. Do I have to remove the motherboard to get the pins out or can I pull them out?

Unfortunately in my experience yes !

You need to able to squeeze the underside of the plastic pins to get them out . You can try to drag them through from the front but I would advise against this.

cheers
