Radeon 9250
Core Clock: 240 MHz
Memory Clock: 400 MHz
Memory Interface: 128-bits
Memory Transfer Rate: 6.4 GB/s
Pixels per Clock: 4
DirectX Support: 8.1

Radeon X300
Core Clock: 325 MHz
Memory Clock: 400 MHz
Memory Interface: 128-bits
Memory Transfer Rate: 6.4 GB/s
Pixels per Clock: 4
DirectX Support: 9

The X300 is better than the 9250 in the sense that it has a noticeably faster core clock and it supports DirectX 9.0.

The X300 is only a tad different/better than the 9250. The only problem with it is that its intergrated and cant be overclocked.

the ATi tool came up with the clock speed but didnt do anything you could put the core up to 6000MHz and of couse that would have a bad effect but nothing happened...

your bios should have some options, I know mine does have alot of options, I have an MSI ms7093 board socket 939, I don't know which version you have but if its the same as mine check out your bios on setup. Mine has a clock setting, AGP aperture, ram allocation and few other settings I can't remember but i don't use on board. As for the 9250 it beats it simply by being DX9 compatible. If you can get the x1900 at least you have decent onboard compared to intel extreme and it should hold you over while you save for the better add in card.

When it comes to ocing a g-card it cant be done all that much from bios..Only the slot option can be changed and its properties. You need software for ocing a g-card really.
