Question regarding your pump. Am I correct in saying you have an EK top for your MCP655 + the fancy metal pump cover? Because If i'm not mistaken the EK top cannot be used with and pump covers. Let me know.

It's all bits power. Only ek things I am using are the water blocks. Its the bits power pump cover and top.

i am getting the same radiator and rad grill that you have and i a few questions for you fshizl:
1. how difficult was it to mod the top? do you have to mod any other part of the case to fit the 480 rad i have used jig saws before and was thinking about just taping it off, cutting it, and cleaning it up with a file. i figure the actual cut is going to be hidden by the rad grill anyway so it doesnt have to look absolutely perfect.
2. how much room is there between the case and the front and rear of the rad. mainly just asking to know if it interfere with the front IO panel at all
3. how many feet of tubing would you say you used?

when i'm completely finished, i plan to have my loop look extremely similar to yours, only different colors

Let me know if ya wanna part with that 5970 anytime soon, I'll gladly buy it. Are your fans pulling air in?

1. Very Easy, just nerve recking LOL. You are gonna cut into the top of a 250+ dollar case (depending were you get it) so it tends to make people nervous...

If you measure carefully youll be fine.

2. from the back of the case to the radiator. i can barely fit my finger. From the front of the radiator to the front panel i have a decent amount of room...

3. i bought ten feet of tubing because it was so hard to find the color i got. however i probably used about 3-4 feet all together. I still have 6 feet stored just incase i need to re-do the loop.

I am probably not gonna part with it. ill be getting another gtx 580 to replace the one that was broken. yes my 580 broke within one week. I am pretty sure the motherboard is bad but gigabyte has been saying that I am having problems due to my power supply... but the power supply has been running fine powering another computer lol

Woohoo!
I followed your Plavalaguna build and I found it pretty amazing; happy to see you at work again!
Congrats on the amazing build you have there

Also thanks for referring to the MCP655 "top" replacement, I was looking to get some other fittings on mine and couldn't find a way to do it; now I know what I need to do and how much it'll cost me
