I agree with getting something now and not waiting. Just as most of us are saying, you wont see much of a difference unless you do some serious stuff on your PC. Plus you will save a fair amount of money that you could put elswere and have just as good a system.
To be honest with you, I had over clocked my Sandy from 2.2 to 2.8 and really didn't see a big difference. It did go from 38 seconds to 30 seconds on SuperPI Mod 1M test, but for my normal use, I didn't see nothing. It made me wonder why I should keep it at 2.8 if it does everything the same as when it was 2.2. All of my games even run the same quality. My point is, only spend the money on a uber CPU if you actually need it. For the majority of us, something like the 3700 Sandy does everything we need.
