How to connect a second PSU to power only graphics card. how to start the psu since the the start stop switch will be going to the motherboard which will be powered by a separate PSU. only the grphics card will be running on the 2nd psu along with some fans and leds.

You can trip the 2nd PSU by shorting the black and green wires on the 24pin

Connect the two red circled connections with a bent paperclip or something of the sort.

Just keep in mind to make sure you dont put in the wrong pin or you could wind up frying the PSU. I usually cover the paperclip in electrical tape so it doesn't touch anything else as a precaution.

i think we need a better method. who wants to open up case and use paper clip every time? it just doesn't seem very...modern.

Dont buy this.. Just buy 1 foot of green wire and back wire (18 AWG) and 2 ATX Pins. And make this mod your self.. not worth 10 bucks..
