Thread Starter
New to OC.
Current OC at stable 2.89

FSB: 246
HTT: 5x
Multiplier: 12

My mobo won't let me change my vcore any higher than 1.55
CPU temp: 35-38C

You guys think I can get up to at least 3.0ghz ? I am open to any advice thanks.

Lower your HTT multiplier to 3 or 4X. (won't hurt performance, but will increase stability)

Here is some great info for you
http://www.overclock.net/faqs/38169-...roduction.html

Difficult to say how far it will go... stable that is.
Work up slowly from where you are now.
Other options that may help...
Upping the bridge chip and mem controler voltage a bit.
Setting your Command (CPC) to 2T from 1T if necessary.
