YEP, another H50 mod ( prototype ) .. watcha say?!

hey fellas,
i finished my h50 mod some days ago.. this is my first watercooling and first mod in that way. The mod is not complete yet, there is a connector missing at the watertank and the waterflow goes still in the wrong direction... dont ask why ..i will fix that the next days.

the pump is working as on the stock h50 with 1350 rpm. there is the stock radiator with 2x 120mm coolres @ push/pull + a bigger radior.. there are 3 x 120mm fans and it is helping cooling down the psu either. the temps dropped by 5°c compared to h50 stock. i will get some mx3 and fix the above mentioned issues for better results. just see yourself..

Any ideas what else could be done better? Im asking myself if the pump is too weak or if it aint good that the psu exit is cooled down by the second radiator.. tell me what you think about this..

Hey Bud, Nice job . Have you thought about the long term effects of just that one little pump on the H50 pushing all that fluid round all those parts? I ended up putting in a little EK pump just in case and i have only 2 x 120 rads and a very small fillport/res. But anyways Kudos man

thank you^^ no.. theres no second pump. i was also afraid that it could be too weak. but it looks like there is no big difference for the pump because it works with the same speed as on stock.. it also sounds not different. i turned on the pump and looked how fast it is wothout water.. it was about 3,5k rpm then i filled it with water and it went back to 1350 like it was on the stock h50. i guess it would work slower if the water mass would be too much.

edit: the res is that full cuz i put yesterday some ice in it

hope u didn't run the pump to long without water in it. as damage can be done this way.

Try it out, this rez is kinda big for H50 i think.
Micro rez from swiftech is the optimal reservoir size for H50 imo.

That's not what I am worried about. The last picture shows a big 240 rad on the back as the rad for the system. That ads alot of restriction to the system and the H50's motor is not usually powerfull enough to run like that long.

I saw guys running H50 with 120x2 and 240 rads and everything was fine as i remember.
but i guess 240 rad plus such big rez is lots of liquid and also restrictive so pump may not handle this.
