Yeah you have to activate the WinXP, and it wont work more then once with the new green/yellow stickers, so you're out of luck

Well, what if it installed fine and activated fine? Then the only problem would be getting updates, correct? One wouldn't ba able to get by the Windows Genuine Validation Tool or whatever.

Are there thrid-party sites you can get windows updates from without going through the validation stuff?

WGA shouldn't give you any problems, but if it does give me a PM
