jeez I dont think half of thoses guys are answering your question. Anyways I switched to a AMD not to long ago, check my sig if ya want. Anyways the performance was insane, windows loaded quicker, not a multitasking processor but I was able to rip a dvd and watch another riped one at the same time. Other then that pending on what stepping it is, you can probably expect at least 2.8Ghz to 3.0Ghz daily!! right now I am running in between
So I say get it!!! NOW!!
EDIT:erauman you are totally right I just got done explaining that in another thread, basically same chip just the 3700+ is multiplier locked
