new 250gb 16mb WD

I just bought this hard drive, it's sata and I already have an ide one connected, I was wondering why this hard drive isn't showing up on my computer? It shows on bios but not on my computer..any suggestions?

Did you partition the disk yet? If not go to: Control Panel>Admin Tools>Computer tools... and check out "Disk Management".

BTW, I have the WD 16MB / 250GB SATA-II... and love it, hope you enjoy it.

lol, well maybe that will do the trick..where do you connect it to? I have the same hd by the way..and I already have an ide as the primary...do i connect it to the sata 1,2,3,4 ?

It shouldn't matter which SATA port you connect it to on your mobo...I always tend to do it in order so I don't get confused.
