lame question about ata cables

Thread Starter
the thing is i dont exactly know if i plug a new hdd on to second IDE port on mobo with old ata/33 cable it will work slower ?

when i got my mobo the package contains one ata/33 and one ata/66 cable... this means that only master IDE connector on mobo supports full speed of ata/66 cable?

The ata 66 is an IDE semi-conductor cable and therefore runs faster so use that one.; Try and get two 66's
