like i said i had another go at it today and got slightly better results, all together I got my first 25pts out of which 5.9 are global points;) i know its nothing special but eyy its only been my second day ocing this hardware;) on water it looks the max multi is 5200, but its very unstable even at 1.6 so it will have to wait till i start using the phase (should be end of next week). Here are my subs, if you guys have any tips, please tell:)

You will want to run all the other benchmarks as well, for both 2D (Processor) and 3D (Graphics) but you should be doing all your 2D benches in XP. Haven't heard much about if 8 x64 is proving faster or not yet but the standard for the 2D stuff is XP. Vantage and Mark11 of course require 7 or better but when you get into the older benches definitely give them a try in XP as well. Mark2001 must be run using XP to get a competitive score.

Good luck! Can't wait to see what phase will do for your scores. Don't know if you've noticed or not but OCN has a little contest ongoing that you might be interested in. Perfect for someone looking to do some work with the older benches. Someone has to show FTW he can't walk all over us like he is doing.

Overclocking is all about the following things:

Hardware - have you got a good chip
Cooling - How cold can you go (gets more important if you have a good chip)
Knowing the software (this is a big part of everything - knowing how the benchmarks work and what tweaks you can use to get those extra positions. This could mean a different operating system for each benchmark, or running the benchmark in a certain order)
Luck - sometimes fortune favors the brave. Sometimes it takes a crap on their face.
