the cheaper one is louder, moves more air, and doesnt have the RPM monitor wire

If you were me, which one would you get? I don't mind spending the extra money but why not save it if they were similar? In other words, is the $10 fan worth it?

is sound a concern for you? if its not then get the cheap one unless you feel you need RPM monitoring.

If sound really isnt a concern, then get a tornado. You should mount your computer to your floor before turning on that tornado though if you get it

I was contemplating the same thing

My idle temps were about 45c and load were at 55c
After I bought my XP-90, installed and everything going my temps dropped to 33c idle and 44c loads. Great improvement, helped me OC almost 1gh. Its a definate buy im my books.

Thanks, but I want to try avoiding eBay and go to direct buy from stores and sites instead. That Silient Cat looks good, but too bad they don't have it in stores. Hey Kopi, which Panaflo fan are you using with your XP90? But I think I'm going to go with the $10 since I doubt my Nexus Fan Controller can mute that much sound from that 63dba fan.

Thanks for looking for me, but I'm from New Jersey....which is in the United States which is a couple thousand miles away from Australia lol. I'll just get the Panaflo fan then.

By the way, what is the difference between a 2 Pin Connector Wire and a 3 Pin Connector Wire? Are they compatible with eachother?
