Programs to check memory FSB?

Thread Starter
Well I just upgraded my machine for the AMD 64, running I have:

TUL Xpress 200p MB (ATI Radeon Xpress 200p chipset)
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Proc.
ATI Radeon x1600 Sapphire 512 MB Vid Card
2 gb Kingston pc3200 ram

My question is regarding my FSB on my memory on both the vid card and ram, my bios doesn't seem to have any readouts as to what they are, does anyone know of a windows XP based program that could help me out with reading these? I tried memtest but it says it needs to boot from a floppy which I do not have, grrrr ancient technology

Thanks

Great thanks for the prog, so 2 gigs of pc3200 running at 200 mhz freq with a 2 ghz proc. Does that sound about right? I would like to try overclocking, as my profile says I have 5 fans in the computer itself and 2 more 1 on the vid card and 1 on the CPU. Would this be effcient enough for OCing or would I have to invest into a better cooling system?

your cooling is probably enough for you to get your feet wet! When I first got into overclocking I still had the stock cooler on my cpu. If you really get into it, you'll eventually want to upgrade your cooling to get you a higher oc. The thing that you'll want to watch are your temps.

it looks like your system is set up right. your RAM is at the right frequency. 200Mhz is DDR400 (double data rate... effectivly doubles the frequency so 200Mhz = DDR400)

Can you post a screenshot of cpuz? both the main page and your RAM page.

and welcome to the forum!

I can try i'll have to borrow my girlfriends digital camera I don't have any means of online screenshots myself, it kinda looks like a BMW actually lol, it has head lights and a grill on top I have no idea why . It has a temp gauge on the bottom but it's junk it just tells the case temp which really doesn't help me out, right as I turn it on I know what temp my room is thouh which I guess i kinda nice . I'll try to get her camera and get a pic up soon though

you do not need a digital camera to make screenshots just press the prt scrn buttn next to f12 and then paste it to ms paint save it and then upload it to imageshack or whatever. give us the link and we will see.

btw can you give me a rep+ for this?
