I had this set in my 1st X58 build and they are great for the price. I got them close to 1910 with 8-9-8-24 for testing on my i7 930 but I think it was my CPU holding me back from tightehitting 2000MHz. I can boot but was very unstable closer to 1950 even at 9-9-9-27. and having to crank up the QPI. Otherwise for daily use on 1.65v I used at just under 1700 at 6-8-6-24 @ 1.657v but a 1.357v QPI. I will look through my old notes to see what I tracked them at because I did save the data. So I think it is workable if you're willing to turn up the PLL, QPI and even vcore a bit. Each CPU and mobo combo will act different , and especially w/ these built in memory controllers.
