What is the deal?! Which one is right?

BIOS Set to 1.4875 / 1.2 (I know I'm probably high but this is what it took for 6 1/2 hours P95 stable, so far)

Bad BIOS? Ideas?

It happens to me all the time, my hwmonitor always shows my vcore higher than what the bios is supposed to have it set. Mine is supposed to be 1.38 but it's almost .5 higher every time, don't know if it's a fluke but I've got it so temps won't go past 63C, that's when they finally even out. =)

EVEREST is reading your VID (aka Default Voltage) while HW Monitor & CPUz are reading your ACTUAL Voltage

HW Monitor though is giving you a range; IE: Lowest Voltage Point, Average Voltage Point, & Maximum Voltage Point.

CPUz on the other hand is giving you more of a "Live" reading of what the voltage is at, at that very second.

In this case; trust CPUz

My board (the Foxconn A79A-S) actually increases the voltage by .0375, though some boards (Like the MSI 790FX-GD70) decreases the voltage (commonly called Vdroop) by as much as .1v (though usually not as drastic.)

Short story: Most all motherboards will never be 100% spot on with the voltage.

This is true. I am pretty sure the latest BIOS for this board is slightly buggy as every other boot I get 'CPU Fan Error!' (or when I make changes to FSB via BIOS).

Hrm... So now for finding something faster and stable. Thanks T-Tot.
