I will NOT be buying GT5!

unless the limited edition is coming out in the uk at £50 may pay 60 just for that car model and then sell the game separately....

Anyway my reason being is...

the 800+ standard cars won’t have interiors – so no in car views for them. Creating 1000+ cars to the same exacting standards as the 200 premium cars would be an impossible task – and if not impossible, it would take Polyphony Digital another five-years to complete.

Dont get me wrong but i didnt ever think they would have 1000 all fully detailed cars but i did think at least 400... i dont care about damage modelling at all

Also GT5’s standard cars just upscaled GT4 models :/ that bugs me quite a lot textured badges eww...

I myself expected more from polyphony. and dont slag me off coz this does seem to be more of a rant which i never meant it to be.

Yeah, I hear ya. I used to be a die hard console gamer (I still have every system for the most part) but I'm not going to be buying any new console games or consoles from now on. It's just a waste of money.
It used to be when you bought a game, you got the entire game and that was it. Now, to get all the features and extra's (that they advertise and brag about) you have to spend more money on top of the games purchase to enjoy these features.....not cool.
And really GT5......it's nothing new from GT4. It's pretty much the same game with better graphics, more cars, and better AI. They seem to have forgotten about the tuning aspect that goes along with any type of racing, and personalization is non existent. Can you even change the paint color this time?

I hear the contrary, 800 standard cars WILL have interiors, just not functioning, or very basic ones...
actually if they do or not is still very confusing...

and "upscaled from GT4" also might mean higher res textures that they re-made for GT5...
they probably just recycled the models ok... maybe not =(

don't lose hope yet though... wait till the game comes out to judge on it... there are still a lot of things you can't get anywhere else!

TTGT, Track Editor, Night/Day and Weather... etc

The amount of vitriol and butthurt surrounding this game continues to astonish me every single day.

The Forza fanboys trash on it so hard because they know it will blow Forza out of the water. I realize this will brand me a GT fanboy and that's ok because I'm proud to admit I am. I've been with the GT series since the very beginning back when I got the original Playstation and I anxiously await November 2.

Agreed

I myself don't really lean towards any racing franchise but i can clearly see how shoddy Forza 3 is and it won't surprise me one bit that when GT5 comes out it will out do Forza 3
