Zalman VF900? What happened?

I remember alot of us (myself included, for 3 different computers actually) were waiting for the release of this GPU cooler and the last I heard of it was out of CES in early January, what happened, is it still set to be released and if so when? Last I heard there were to be regular and blue LED versions costing about $30 which sounds awesome to me. (of course im gonna have to wait until my 7900GTX arrives to see how its stock cooler performs, that thing is HUGE!)

This is the only site that carries it, $50 is a bit steem IMO....

When does your 7900 arrive? I take it that it is arriving with your P5WD2 and your Presler?

Yep, Monday hopefully (god this weekend is taking FOREVER! lol)

http://www.zalman.co.kr/

Zalman's site seems to be flash based so I cant link directly to it but on that page you should see a link to the page for the VF900....still not in any stores though.

EDIT/// Wow I just noticed something cool, the fan is offset from the part of the cooler that comes into contact with the GPU core, this means that the fan's dead spot is not over the GPU core which is certainly a noteworthy design decision, kudos to Zalman on that, I predict many more coolers in the future offsetting their fans if this GPU cooler works as well as it probably will.

Also, it is compatible with the 7900 just thought someone might care about that lol....

Pity it doesn't support 6600 AGP cards. I guess I'll just have to settle for the VF-700.

yeah, I probably wont get it either simply because in a review of the MSI version of my card (same reference cooler) it ran 41c idle and 55c load which is amazing for a silent stock cooler lol.

on the link of the site Remoster posted, it says the cooler is set to be sold on 3.27.06. Hopefully newegg will have it cheaper once it is released.

I've found a few places that say it's in stock, as a new arrival. Still$50.

I'm in South Korea right now and I'm gonna try to see how much they are here.

I'm in new york but I can read korean.
so I browsed some korean sites included zalman.co.kr as well.

In official site, the price for VF900 is 47,000 won, which is lil less than $50

but other shopping sites are selling this around 40,000 won, which is just about $40.

so once the cooler release in US, it's going to be around $40 in some site, which is prolly cheapest price.
