Size is farely revalant.. I can most likely fit both but i have a lot of fans going a lot of different directions that it may conflict with. Which is best for my 630 3.0GHz @3.6 stock, my goal is to hit 4.0GHz without water. also, is the stock fan on the big typhoon very good? what is a better fan for it?

Verdict: Zalman pleads no contest. Big Typhoon by far.

Well, the BT is considered the best air cooler available. You can get better fans for it, as it uses a standard 120mm.

A Big Typhoon with a 100CFM or greater fan will be the best aircooling solution you can get. Make sure your case airflow is setup as to remove the hot air that the BT blows on the mobo and you will be set.

No contest, I had the CNPS7700cu for about a year and moved to the Big Typhoon, it netted me a 20c idle and 15c load improvement over the Zalman LOL! And yes the Zalman was seated properly and I used AS5 for both of them....

I would say none of the above.

Get a Tuniq Tower 120. It's clearly a better choice. I'd buy it but my Zalman is good enough, it keeps my 660 idling at 40c and 53c loaded @ 4.32ghz

Tuniq Site.
