tips on removing typhoon plate under cpu??

i'm trying to remove the metal bottom plate with the foam adhesive under the cpu, it very very sticky.. tips on how i can remove it safely?

Get a piece of cardboard or foam, lay the plate down on top and cut out a replacement with a razor blade.

If all he needs is something sticky and foamy, Why not just get some thick weather stripping from the home depot or lowe's? It should work

any similar material work for a new faom thingy... use cardboard, rubber of some kind... just anything soft really aslong as it doesnt conduct electricity AT ALL....
