I got a 150gb raptor

Pro's - Fast Fast Fast

Con's - Expensive and because of the spin speed they are quite noisey

As far as PATA/SATA drives are concerned, the Raptor is the King for gaming. But they now have a 15,000k SCSI 73gig hdd. With seek times down to 3.2ms, your games or productivity would fly! Very good write up nonetheless.

My old WD raptors setup was 2 x 74gb 8mb cache in a raid 0. I sold that setup to buy 4 x 36gb 16mb cache version in a raid 0 thinking it would perform much better. In my opinion it has not. See Chozart HD benchmarks under HD section. I wish I would have just move to 2 x 150gb raptors instead.
But having these HD does help with quick map loading in many games like BF2.
