if you don't wanna spend time to find out your max. clock then here is how you do it. (but of coz u better find out your max clock on cpu and ram to get the most performance)
think about your target clock, such as you wanna go for 2.8 Ghz for example.
then you have to decide what multi you wanna use.
here is the formula : 2800 = HTT* multi
if you wanna use the multi 10 then it will be 280*10 = 2800, so your htt will be 280

next you will switch to the ram, think about which divider you wanna to use. (in this case, you better know how high your ram can reach. since using different divider will result in different clock.
HTT* divider = memory speed
depends on what options u have in your mobo bios, 200/183/166/133
this is your divider = 200/200, 183/200, 166/200
if you pick the divider 166/200, then your ram speed is 280*.83= 232.4 Mhz

then set the CPU to NB speed. it has to be within the range (800,1000)so if you have 280 HTT, then you will choose 3x (3*280=840)

run prime95 blend test for your rig, and mem86+ for your ram. (this is help you isolate the problems are come from too high OC from CPU or ram.) if mem86+ failed, adjust the ram divider. if cpu clock too high, lower htt.

up the voltage if you see error, watch the temp (temp < 50C) and get a good cooling. that's all about what is OC....

sounds simple eh?
this may seems easy to do, but it takes A LOT OF time...

Just put the memory on a 166/333 divider and start raising the FSB. There should be a setting for the HT frequency listed. Just put it on x4 also and go from there. Post back if you have any questions.
