512mb ram is killing you...
and that celeron isnt helping...
the 6600gt is okay..

I'm guessing the guy has a 7800 + 2GB ram?

bicolormoth - Your graphics card is good. That'll be able to run on full most likely. My brother's runs on full graphics with 2x AA acompanied by a 3200+ Venice. It's your RAM that's really doing a number on you.

On the rig in my sig I had to play on all low settings... until I got 512 more RAM. Now I can run smoothly on medium settings
But yea, that Celeron isn't helping either. Right now I'd focus on the RAM though, because BF2 is VERY RAM dependent.
