Anyway, very nice rig! Do you mind if I copy the chromey bars? I'm probably gonna do it with paint though... +rep! smile.gif

Could you please answer? Thanks!

Hmmmm.... You have a faster CPU and graphics cards and look at the minimum frame rates for mine and yours!!

That's with my 5850's at 850Mhz and not at the 1Ghz core speeds I normally run them at!

I think you will find that 8xaa is no were near the same as Qxaa also the fames are low due to a massive stutter spike I have at the start of every crysis run its really annoying.

There are also some new vantage runs with my sandy bridge turns out a 920 can bottle neck SLi 480's.

Here are some runs I just did with SB.

vantage P mode / 4.85ghz / 850 core 1 ghz mem / physx off

asmld.png

vantage H mode / 4.85ghz / 850 core 1 ghz mem / physx on

hoca.png

As you can see there was a bottle neck situation with the 920, scores rose on about around 3k I am very very happy with SB.

I will try and get some more benchmarks up later but I am still stabilizing the OC.

I think you'll find that if you do some reading you'll find that Q16xAA uses the same coverage sample rate as 8xMSAA and costs no more in terms of performance.

I re-ran the benchmarks and wow what an improvement the scores were so low, because there was bottle neck, namely the old i7 920 you can see now the scores are reflective of the gpus power biggrin.gif. Also the minimum frames are almost over 10fps Over your card now, what an improvement.

Thanks, I am sure the AA is being applied tho. And what you started earlier must be wrong as you can see a clear drop for 8xaa to 16xQaa.
