depends what game...

i know with Gary's Mod and GoldenEye Source, you just need to download the files and then put them in your sourcemods folder

Yo dude, you totally didn't read his question. He asked how to UNINSTALL a 3rd party game in steam.

Just right click on the game in question and choose "delete local content" and that should do it.
