i was putting a heatsink on a CPU the other day and realized that i was out of as5. so i did it without any paste, kinda dumb. Anyways the little 1.4Ghz P4 was heating up to around 65C idle so i wasnt about to load it up. So i had a little idea to put a tin piece of aluminum foil between the heatsink and the CPU and oddly the temps lowerd to about 48C. kinda a big jump for aluminum foil or everest is messed up. i thought it would be a good idea to tell everyone just in case you fun outa paste .
