Need Advice! (Building New Rig)

Thread Starter
Ok, Im building a new PC, from nothing!

Just a budget of £2,000, I have some knowledge, as I have already built 2 PC's....

Just hoping someone could tell me what parts would be best to get with my budget.

I live in the UK, and my friend told me to go AMD, so I will.

Thanks in advance.

(I also know I should wait for DX10, and other new tech specs, but I just want to know what the best build for now would be with my £2,000. Thanks)

I should have mentioned this computer is for hardcore gaming and multitasking, with adobe etc.

If you are getting a computer of that caliber, then you may look at these.
This Mobo
This CPU
This RAM

These are just the core componets, you may want to cut back on some of them, but they are all near top of the line.

So thats about $3400 US Dollars right?

Lets see...this is what I would do:

-Opteron 170 (2Ghz 2x1MB caches) Overclocks Nicely $390
-DFI NF4 Expert $184
-2GB G.Skill Extreme PC4000 (overclocks nicely) $200
-PC Power & Cooling 510 SLI PSU $220
-Full Tower Case that you like $150
-2X eVGA 7900GTX's N570 512MB $540x2=$1080
-3x 80GB Hitachi Deskstars SATA2 in Raid-0 $150
-1x 160GB Saegate SATA for storage $60
-DVD Burner ~$80
-Custom Water Cooling (I can help with that too) $350

Total: About $2900 US dollars...

That is one Kick arse rig...and should suit your gaming needs perfectly.
