-.- Sooooorrry. I don't understand RAM timings well yet. So, when you say 4-4-4-12, you mean the first four RAM timings options (there's a fifth option on the BIOS, do I leave that at AUTO then?)

I'm going to try out ARL67's setting which he reports as stable, and I'll move from there, I'll post the CPU-Z screenie soon.

Here it is... I managed to get a 4:3 ratio. So, what would be the advantage of getting 1:1 whilst leaving stock speed?

Thus, what step do you suggest I take from here then?

By the way, thanks a lot for your time and consideration ^_^

Actually, that's a 2:3 ratio:

Check this out:

300(DDR2 @ 2:3 stock)/200(CPU's fsb @ stock)= 1.5

235x1.5 (ddr2 600 @ 2:3 ratio) = 352.5mhz/2= 176.3mhz <--CPU-Z doesn't work properly with those nForce 4 SLI-IE.

But that's a 2:3 ratio, which is not bad with those timings.

Having 1:1 allows for a smoother running processor (faster). When overclocking these are your goals (in that order):

Highest FSB
Closest to 1:1
Lowest RAM timings.

Thank you very much! I finally understood the basics, thanks to you guys. Got some very nice numbers in 3dmark, and am now testing for temperatures and stability. Thanks again!
