GameCom 367 issues

Okay, so I have a problem with this headset I just bought. Actually, I don't think its the headset, its something with my computer. I just bought a Plantonics Gamecom 367, and plugged it into my rig. The sound works fine, but the mic isn't working. I'm running windows 7 Ultimate, and I think the problem has to do with my OS or something, since this headset is new. For a while, I got the outer mic to work on the headset [the GameCoM has 2 mics, one on the outside and one on the inside, all sound that comes through the outside mic is subtracted from the inner mic so background noise gets canceled]... Anyways, I thought that since this is a gaming headset, I'd post under PC games and maybe one of you could help me out.

Do you have another mic? My problem on my asus mobo was the drivers doing something then I changed a few settings in the via sound control panel and it worked. I'm not sure if you have via or not

I actually do not have another mic. And for some reason under the device manager.. it says ATI High Definition Audio Device.. When I know for a fact that my onboard sound is not ATI. Only my graphics card is ATI.

I'm just gonna close this. I figured it out... It was stupid ATI catalyst that was causing the problem. Thanks for trying to help UBer.

EDIT: I forgot, you can only close threads in the freebies/sales forums +(. Ah well let this thread die! [or a mod come here and close it ]
