Picked up an EVGA 240 from TD for $33.55 shipped AR & BCB & coupon. Couldn't say no to that, and should be excellent for my HTPC for post processing and last-gen emulation.

What are the specs on the card so I can add them to the list.

I picked up an eVGA GT240 512MB GDRR5 from Frys but I can't seem to overclock the shaders at all. It becomes extremely unstable when I try

I wanted to flash it with another manufacturer's BIOS (XFX or maybe MSI), but I can't seem to find any anywhere.

Surprisingly no, the 8800GTS is probably more powerful as it's fill rates are quicker.

I have a DDR3 and a GDDR5 GT 240, both collecting dust in the garage. The DDR3 version loses across the board to a 9600 GT while the GDDR5 version sometimes is better, sometimes worse. A 9800 GT blows it away.
