My power supply is powering down randomly, help please - Page 2

so i decided to poke around to see what i can do, opened up the psu, blew out the dust, decided to try it again, but this time i didnt plug in this safety protection 2-pin cable that was right under the ATX cables and it seems to fix it. My temps on the psu are just fine anyways, and the fan is working, so i dont think i need it. Though i think my 120 is running kinda slow, so i might as well replace it. Whats a good quiet fan that will fit in there. Also what kind of connector is the thing, i dont want to take it out again to look, is it just a regular 3 pin?

NUUOs have had some complaints on Newegg about being defective and all that.

Are you sure that your molex connectors aren't shorting on something? I know the NUUO is modular, but I wasn't sure if the cables have multiple connectors on them.

Just a thought!
My computer would shut down randomly when i hit my desk or closed a drawer.
Found that the main 20 pin cord going into mobo was at an angle.
I rerouted the main harness so the it went straight into mobo.
Done, no more reboots.
