ok today ive got a big deal

a guy asked me to build his new computer *all piece* and install windows plus installing all his program. i did it and

he gave me a good good comp well for that job

amd athlon xp 1800+
512 ram
80 gb
geforce2 mx 400
nforce something *sound card*
rest i ignore well

and the computer has one problem he keeps shut down sometime automatic and it bring to a blue screen then when i restart it its working fine till it shut down again? what is the problem someone know?

a technician said was the power supply as well if its this im fine i got an atx 450 watt NEW NEW NEW that i never used so if its the problem i will just unplug the 300 watt ones i got on that pc and replace it. thank you

why dont u try swapping out the power supply and see if the problem goes away?

My way would be to swap ps

if it still happens. pull everything out that isnt needed. if it still happens wipe/reload windows

I agree with cableguy. PSU is quite possibly the problem. Also try repairing, reformating windows or pulling all components out and re installing. I hope he is paying your for labour
