SpeedFan isn't really accurate with all mobos, if it isnt try everest. It has always been accurate, even though i use the temp monitor that came with my moob.

Speedfan is actually the most accurate when compared to Everest and MBM5. Speedfan works with almost every temp sensor out there. Everest takes forever to start registering, and MBM 5 reports my CPU as being something like -41C, which it definitely is not.

I use a biostar TForce4u which not many people use and speedfan says my CPU is 127c, which i highly doubt it correct . I think maybe ive just got a mobo that doesnt like SpeedFan because everest reports the correct temps, even acording to my mobo's software.

well.. i just found out by reading that u cant overclock the emachines computers.. ahh boo.. its okay.. i have been using clockgen and the farthest i have raised it was to 2215mhz.. it seems like its getting faster.. maybe not.. the bios is locked the only thing i can adjust is the core temp fan speed and what temp to work at wich is set at 35 for the processor and 40 for the mb..

anyone know how to unlock these cpu's to overclock?? i dont want to go too crazy just get it a little faster.. thanks
