What the ???

Hey, can anybody tell me what these are and why they are loading up when i switch my computer on, thanks:


I mean what is this notepad code? and what is HOTKEY KEYBOARD

Thats a shell service app starting up If this was A TRUE windows process you wouldnt see it at start up, I it could be an odd third party application you have starting up which you can get rid of by typing in ''msconfig'' in the start bar and go to the ''startup'' tab and stop things from starting up that you dont need, but Im lead to believe that it could be a virus or spyware as such.

ahh cheers guys, the notepad answers where exactly rite but what about the HOTKEY KEYBOARD that comes up on the task bar can only close it to get rid of it! but what is it?
lol the keyboard? what the hell!

Go to "Start -> Run" and type msconfig then browse to the "startup" tab and check the "Location" column for the Hotkey Keyboard startup item.
You can uncheck it so it doesn't load at start up time.

Hot Keyboard is the software that came with your keyboard. All eMachines have it. It's so you can use all those multimedia keys.
